How long have you been with Biometics?
3 Years
What is your favorite Biometics product and why?
I really like GET-GO-N PLUS instead of coffee in the morning. I mix half water and half apple juice in a coffee mug, then heat it up and add GET-GO-N PLUS. It's warm, soothing, and I think it tastes a lot like apple cider. I also like XCELL FUEL. Bryan got me started biking to work a couple of times a week, and the XCELL FUEL makes a huge difference in how I feel at the end of the day.
What do you do when you're not at work?
I read a LOT. Richele is kind enough to loan me books from her personal library. I also write and design for my personal web pages and blog, and I have a small garden.
What type of support do you provide our Distributors?
Anything and everything web related. I built the MyBioLink websites for our Distributors, and I do daily updates to all the Biometics websites, including the corporate calendar. I also have a unique background with nutritional products, and I wrote most of the Nutrition Line and Science Matters articles.
Any Tips for our Distributors?
Increasing your presence on the internet could be your key to attracting a lot of retail customers, and increasing your earnings from retail sales.
This website from PodcastPeople has amazing potential for your business, for several reasons. Think about it: how great would it be to have a retail customer who just happens to come across your website and buy product from you? When you frequently add content to your Podcast website, you increase the chances of that happening!
It all comes down to the fact that EVERYTHING you write on your Podcast page is searchable by the major search engines (Google, yahoo!, msn, etc). This means search engines find you:
1) every time you post a blog entry (an entirely written piece)
AND
2) every time you upload a video or audio episode with a written description.
So you want to make sure you always fill in a descriptive title, short description, and long description for each of your Podcast episodes.
Your next question is probably, "How do I make this search engine thing work for me?" Keep in mind that your goal is to make your Podcast page the number one item on search engines, because customers usually click on the top one or two links, and then get bored and ignore everything else. The easiest way to become one of the top one or two links is to make sure you have two things: unique content and reciprocal links.
Unique content is simply something written by you which appears no where else on the internet. When a search engine finds unique content, that item moves higher in the search rankings. Every time a search engine comes across something that appears multiple times, that item moves lower on the search rankings. The more unique content you have, and the more often you post, the higher your Podcast will appear on the search engines.
Reciprocal links are links from one website to another. So, for example, every time you talk about your business, you want to create a link to your business oriented BioLink website. Every time you talk about your good friend Ted at Biometics, you want to link to the Biometics website. Every time you talk about the fantastic Biometics products, you want link to your product oriented BioLink website. When you mention the great training from leaders like Teresa and Frankie Pulley, you want to link to their personal Podcast site. Creating links like this is attractive to the search engines, and they count how many links go back and forth between the pages. The more links, the more it will help you move higher in the search rankings. And moving higher means more potential customers for you!
